Pre-consultation
We recognise that many adoptive families may already have comprehensive assessments from other adoption services and therefore may not require a full MAPSS Initial Consultation.
These consultations are for Western Bay and VVC Adoption social workers to have a discussion with CLASS about how we may support prior to booking into local authority panel.
Pre-consultations are available on a Thursday morning.
Pre-consultations can only be booked by adoption social workers.

CLASS Support
CLASS have a range of support available for adoptive parents in the Cwm Taf Morgannwg region. If you are an adoptive parent you can sign up to receive the CLASS Newsletter where you will also find information about the Monthly Trauma Informed Care Workshops you can attend.

If you need therapeutic or direct parent support CLASS can be accessed through your Adoption Support Team. You can take a look at the therapies provided by clicking the Trauma Recovery Framework image.
